Step-by-Step: How to Download Your LinkedIn Data

  1. Click the button above to go to LinkedIn’s official data export section.

  2. Log into your LinkedIn account, if you’re not already logged in.

  3. If you’re redirected or land on the homepage:
     🔁 Log in first, then return here and click the button again to go directly to the export page.

  4. Choose what type of data you’d like to export:

    • 📦 Full archive – everything LinkedIn has stored about you

    • 🧾 Selected data only – like messages, contacts, connections, etc.

  5. Click “Request archive”.

  6. LinkedIn will begin preparing your archive – this usually takes between 10 and 24 hours.

  7. Once ready, you’ll receive an email with the download link or you can download the ZIP file directly from the export page.

💡 Tip: The archive comes as a ZIP file. We recommend using WinZip to open it and pCloud to securely store your data backup in the cloud.
